AI consultant · New Delhi

AI that does a real job.Proven on your work first.

An AI consultant should find the one task where AI saves your team real hours, prove it on your own examples, and tell you the costs and data risks before you spend. That is how I work with firms, NGOs and institutions across India.

01 What an AI consultant does

Task first.
Tools last.

1 · Find

The task that eats your week

Reports, replies, summaries, data entry, follow-ups. We map where the hours really go and pick one task worth fixing.

2 · Prove

A pilot on your own examples

Not a demo on someone else’s data. We test on twenty real cases from your files and measure the result.

3 · Protect

Data and cost, in writing

What reaches the AI, what stays inside, which vendor, and what it costs each month. Agreed before we build.

4 · Hand over

Your team runs it

Simple instructions, a person who signs off on anything that matters, and me on call when something changes.

03 For NGOs and civil society

Less paperwork.
More of the work that matters.

Reporting

Donor and grant reports

First drafts from your field notes, photos and spreadsheets, in the funder’s format. Your team checks and signs.

Field

Field updates, summarised

Long WhatsApp threads and visit notes turned into one clear weekly summary with the open issues listed.

Archive

Ask your archive, see the source

Years of reports and studies made searchable, with every answer pointing to the document it came from.

People

Answers in the language people use

Common questions from volunteers or beneficiaries answered in Hindi or English, with a person for anything sensitive.

04 For firms and companies

When leadership wants AI
by next quarter.

Engineering is led by an ex-Adobe head of development: big-company discipline, small-team speed.

Support

First response, not the last word

AI reads, sorts and drafts; your team handles judgement and the difficult cases. Start with one queue.

Knowledge

Your documents, answered with sources

Policies, contracts and manuals your team can question in plain language, with the page shown every time.

Office work

Proposals, minutes and reports

Drafts in your firm’s tone from your own notes. Faster first drafts, same people signing off.

Data

Years of data, finally useful

We pick one question your data should answer and build the smallest thing that answers it reliably.

05 How it works

Talk, diagnose,
prove it small, stay.

  1. Talk. It’s free.

You tell me where the hours go. I listen for the task nobody has named yet.

  2. Diagnose.

I look at your real documents, messages and tools, then tell you what I would automate, and what I wouldn’t.

  3. Prove it small.

A working pilot on one task, tested on your past examples, with the monthly cost and the data handling written down.

  4. Stay.

Your team runs it. I stay for fixes, the next task and the questions that come after launch.

06 Before you hire any AI consultant

Five questions
worth asking.

  • Which one task will you start with, and how will we measure it?
  • Will the pilot be tested on our own past examples?
  • What will it cost each month after launch, not just to build?
  • What data leaves our systems, and does the vendor train on it?
  • Who on our team runs it when you’re gone?

If the answers are vague, or the first proposal is a large platform before a small pilot, keep looking. That applies to me too.

07 Questions people ask

Straight
answers.

What does an AI consultant actually do?

A good one finds the one task where AI saves real hours, proves it on your own examples before you spend, and tells you plainly what it will cost each month and where your data goes. Then they hand it over so your team can run it. Tools come last, not first.

How much does an AI consultant cost in India?

It depends on the task, so I scope it after a free conversation and give you the price in writing before you commit. I always start with a small pilot, so the first spend stays small and you see results before deciding on anything bigger.

Can AI replace our support or admin team?

No, and I’d be wary of anyone who says yes. AI is good at the first ninety seconds: reading, sorting, finding the right document and drafting a reply. Judgement, difficult people and the odd cases stay with your team. I build it as a colleague, not a replacement.

Will our data be safe?

Safe enough is a design decision, not a promise. Before building I check what data really needs to reach the AI, whether it can be masked or left out, where the vendor processes it, how long they keep it, and whether they train on it. Often the answer is to send less.

Do you work with NGOs and small organisations?

Yes. A lot of my work has been with policy research institutions, civil society networks and national campaigns. If the budget is tight, say so at the start. There is usually a smaller first step that still works.

Can it work in Hindi or Hinglish?

Often, yes, and it is worth testing early with your real messages. The careers guide on this site answers in English, Hinglish and Hindi, so you can judge the quality yourself before we talk.

Do we need to buy expensive software first?

Usually not. Many first pilots run on tools you already pay for or on pay-as-you-go AI services. We only buy or build more once the pilot shows the task is worth it.

Tell me the one task that eats your week.

A free conversation. You get a plain-language plan and price before you commit, and if you don’t need me, I’ll say so.
